B woke up on Tuesday morning feeling better. We stayed in just to make sure, but she was fine. Gumbo brought B to Jama, Pa, and Taddy's house for dinner. On Wednesday she was totally back to her old self. We met Krista, Lauren, & Ryan at the zoo. B loves the playground more every time we go. On Thursday we hosted playgroup and the new playroom was a hit with the kids. It was nice for the moms to sit back and chat and not have to worry about the kids getting into anything that they shouldn't get into. On Friday B and I went to Lakeside and had beignets. She kept saying "choo choo" and was fascinated by the Easter train. She was terrified of the Christmas train, but I thought we would give it a shot. Well, she got on the train and let me buckle her in, but as soon as the train whistle sounded she got scared and I had to take her off. Gumbo, Kay Kay, Peter, and Lola came to visit in the afternoon. Friday night we grilled and B ate a ton of steak and corn on the cob. After dinner P and I watched 'American Gangster'- it was really good. On Saturday we did some work around the house then went to lunch at Hana. B ate a ton of squid salad (meat) and ate a bunch of rice and tempura veggies. After lunch I took a nap and B and P went to Daneel Park then had ice cream. Peter said that he spent the time at the park chasing after Betsy--she's getting really fast. Marme watched B last night so Peter and I bought Sadie's crib mattress and went to dinner. We got home at 9:30 and I was exhausted--sad, I know. Today Grandpa and Momma Lady came over to help us switch rooms with Betsy. Betsy and Sadie are going to share our bedroom and we moved into B's nursery. B played outside with her water table for a long time today--she loves being outside (or ow-dise as she calls it). Gumbo picked B up this afternoon and took her to the Park to feed the ducks. She was exhausted from her day of fun. She went to bed in her new room very easily. Hooray!
I'll post pics tomorrow--my camera is in B's new room. We're still in the process of moving our things out of Sadie's side of the room.
